There is a school of thought that suggests that one can only know what "the truth" is, if its antithesis being "the Lie" is first known. The one cannot in essence exist without the other.
Here is a parable:
"Say two friends, Mr Kapp and Mr Dev, reach a fork in the road of their life's journey. At this fork stand 2 angels to guide them on there way. The one route will lead to desolation and ruin. The other to wealth and prosperity.
One angel can tell only the truth the other can tell only lies.
E steemed Mr Kapp and Dev can address only one question to the Angels to discover the correct path."
The same question must be posed to both.
